Every person i.eIndividual, Partnership Firm, HUF, Trust, Society, Body of Individuals, Association of Persons, company needs to file return of income every year after 31st March for the preceding financial year 1st April to 31st March.
If any of the above person having taxable income or has full filled any of the conditions mentioned in the Income Tax Act, in any of the financial year i.e from 1st April to 31st March shall have to file his return of income before the due date in the prescribed format.
Wealth tax is charged for every assessment year in respect of the net wealth on the corresponding valuation date of every Individual, Hindu Undivided Family and Company at the rate of 1% of the amount by which the net wealth exceeds Rs.30 Lakhs., within the due date as specified in the Act.
